Executive Committee & Board of Directors
The Officers of the Executive Committee and the Directors of the Board are elected by the Members of the Association and are selected to ensure geographical representation.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consists of the Officers of the Association and the Vice Chair-Canadian Members of the American Public Transportation Association who sits as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee. Executive Officers serve a term of one year:

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors consists of up to forty-five (45) Directors, including those Directors serving on the Executive Committee. It comprises large and small transit system members, specialized transit, national and regional committee chairs, business members, government agency members, affiliate members and foreign transit system members. The Directors of the Board serve a term of two years:
