SmartDRIVER for Transit

NRCan, CUTA's partner and main stakeholder for the Smart DRIVER Program, has renewed another project and has commissioned CUTA to deliver the new program: SmartDRIVER version 7 for Diesel.

The focus of the new program will be to collect data from 800 bus operators across the country and to track these Bus Operators over a two-year period.  Not only has the data collection process improved, but the training has been re-aligned with the new program and will be collecting data that will support the study of GHG reduction across Canada.  For those systems who are currently using version 6 and the database found on the www.smartdriverfortransit.com website, CUTA has designed a very cost effective plan to migrate your system to the new version. This migration is not required, but highly recommended.
